Dear Marilyn
Thanks for your assistance in organizing my files & the work rooms in my house. As a retired litigation lawyer, I was especially gratified to see how well we worked together. Your assistance was outstanding in all aspects of paperwork including your firm grasp of my multi faceted needs & eclectic tastes. I enjoyed working with someone so amiable & intelligent as well as being such a hard worker & who had such a firm grasp of the many subjects involved. You understood instinctively what I needed to access immediately from the multitude of files & papers of all kinds collected over a lifetime of diverse activities. Your anticipation of my needs in these circumstances was much appreciated and your knowledge of what should be saved & what needed to be eliminated was very important & essential.
Sincerely

To Whom It May Concern:
Marilyn Anthony of Clutter Cutters is someone we all need at some point in our lives. She is the ultimate expert at what she does: organizing, managing and effectively implementing difficult organization projects.
As an executor of an estate, I was in the process of selling an apartment and prior to the sale had the responsibility to sort and then store or dispose of the apartment’s contents, which included a mountain of personal and professional documents, books, photographs, clothes and furniture. Ms. Anthony, working under a tight deadline, planned and executed the project in the most efficient, organized and timely manner. She had a calming influence in what was both a difficult and emotional project for me
As I live outside of Canada, I needed someone who is trustworthy, of impeccable judgment and who could both plan and execute what I viewed as an overwhelming task. In Ms. Anthony I found that person. She took control of the project, while keeping me fully informed of her progress, the challenges she was facing and the solutions she came up with. Ms. Anthony suggested other service providers, such as appraisers, liquidators and movers and worked with them to bring the project to its successful and timely conclusion. She was both strategic in how she approached the project and at the same time thought of and executed every necessary step.
I cannot imagine whether and how I could have completed the project without Ms. Anthony’s guidance and her professional services. I consider myself extremely lucky for having found and worked with Ms. Anthony.
Thank you, Marilyn!

Quick Tips
- Break a task down into smaller components. A whole kitchen can be overwhelming. Just look at a drawer first.
- Make it a habit to get rid of anything that’s broken or hasn’t been used for two years.
Keep similar items in the same place. - One of the simplest strategies for organizing? Label box, containers and files with the content and date.
- A monthly calendar helps schedule tasks according to the day, the week, the month, the season. Remember: routine becomes habit!
- You can keep track of everybody’s schedule in the family with a centralized calendar in the kitchen.
- Keep a permanent ‘DONATE’ box in your house and empty it regularly.
- Hang a wipe-off board on the fridge for the family’s ‘TO DO ‘ list and for grocery shopping.
- Organize clothing by seasons. Then keep the current season’s clothing close at hand. Store the rest on separate shelves, in containers or in other closets.
- Using separate binders with subject dividers will make household papers, finances and personal projects accessible and easy to manage
